The Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art is honored to announce the opening of two new exhibitions:

Body Gestures, a group exhibition

Body gestures are a highly expressive form of communication, which involves a wide range of both conspicuous and subtle movements. This non-verbal language may be used either to complement or to substitute the spoken words, and may serve to enhance or transform their message. Body gestures may underscore a verbal message; at the same time, they may endow it with another, contradictory and surprising interpretation. The works featured in this exhibition all examine, in a range of different ways, the rules, significance and impact of this body language.

Participating artists: William Cobbing (England), Pierre Coulibeuf (France), Thomas Hirschhorn (Switzerland), Lea Golda Holterman (Israel), Nadav Kander (Israel/England), Tali Keren (Israel), David LaChapelle (USA), Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook (Thailand), Hadas Reshef (Israel), Galia Uri (Israel), Shachaf Yaron (Israel)

Curated by Ghila Limon and Dana Orland
