Moderator Veronica Kavass was raised in Nashville by a Latvian law professor and an Ecuadorian art gallery owner. She holds a Masters in Curation and Criticism from Chelsea College of Art in London. She is a trained oral historian through working with StoryCorps. Her business involves assisting others tell, write, and film their stories.

Michael Anderson is an artist living and working in New York. He has exhibited his collage-based works throughout the United States, and is represented by Marlborough Gallery. He visited Detroit for the first time last weekend, and took over 1,800 pictures in 3 days. He has selected the highlights to share!

Risa Shoup spent four years as the Programming Director at chashama, curating nontraditional multidisciplinary and performance art spaces around NYC. While she waits to hear back from various Ph.D. programs, she is an adjunct lecturer at Brooklyn College focusing on critical theory and cultural studies. In December of 2008, Risa spoke on the production of non-traditional art spaces at MoCA Detroit co-presented with The College for Creative Studies.

George Rahme is an artist living and working in Detroit. Born in Lansing, Michigan, Rahme graduated from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, and currently has his first solo exhibition on view at Fred Torres Collaborations.
